Breathwork for Sleep Apnea

Do you suffer from anxiety? Maybe sleep apnea has been getting the best of you? Stuffy nose sound familiar?

There are many symptoms of irregular breathing. With the stress and overstimulation of our modern Western world, it can be hard not to over-breathe.

 Our massage therapist, Connor Dent, can help. He has also been trained in the gentle art of Buteyko breathing.

What is Buteyko Breathing? In short, it’s teaching you to breathe less. Through reducing our breathing rate, and lessening the air we intake, we can stimulate the Vagus nerve and create a more calming effect.

Connor is ready to help walk you through this gentle work, and start to reduce the intensity of your anxiety and sleep apnea symptoms. He can also help you decongest that stuffy nose, and explain all of the deep-dive science questions.

Death Cafe

Join us for a Death Cafe at our BEAUTIFUL Reiki studio! We will be discussing all things surrounding death in order to destigmatize the word! Join us!! 

The objective of a Death Cafe is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'.

There will be an icebreaker intro and then whoever wants to start discussing a death topic is welcome to begin. Nametags are provided but are optional. 

Parking:
When you arrive at the building, please be sure to park in a Visitor marked parking space in front the building or park on the street. Street parking is pay to park. There are also additional visitor parking spaces located behind the building. To access the spots behind the building, drive to the cul-de-sac. You will see a parking lot entrance to the left. There are a number of visitor marked spots in this lot. If you park in a spot that does not have a visitor sign directly in front of your car it is not a visitor parking spot. Please do not park in the spots in the top parking lot that are marked residential visitor. Towing is being strictly enforced.

Receiving treatments in a community setting has many benefits - it’s easy for friends and family members to come in for treatment together; many patients find it comforting; and a collective energetic field becomes established which actually makes individual treatments more powerful. 

Once everyone is resting with their needles in, the F tone (Heart chakra) theta wave binaural beats bowls will be played for added healing effects.

How it will be organized: 
2 event sessions to choose from, 3:30 pm or 4:30 pm

2024 Reiki Intensive Training Course

BUILD A STRONG FOUNDATION WITH REIKI

March 30, 2024 – November 16th, 2024

Learn a trauma-informed method of Reiki healing designed to help you build a strong and safe personal practice.

In this intimate, hands-on, intensive training course you will learn to develop your unique healing gift by understanding how Reiki works within your body. You will learn to work with your own intuitive guidance to safely and responsibly engage with the energy of others and you will learn how to communicate with the spirit world and the land we live on. You will also understand the fundamentals of Reiki practice and receive Reiki attunements up to the Master level.

Additional resources provided for this class: a copy of Light on the Origins of Reiki by Tadao Yamaguchi, a reiki training manual, mentorship and assignments between class sessions, a private online community, and refreshments and supplies for each class.

This course is open to any person who is interested in learning about Reiki and how to safely interact with the energy of others. The class will meet once a month for nine months. Submit a non-refundable deposit of $150 by March 15th, 2024 to reserve your space in the class.

Class Fee
We truly believe that Reiki is for everyone. Our goal is to make this class sustainable and accessible. The fee for this course is sliding scale. Please pay higher on the sliding scale if you are able to. This allows us to offer scholarships and apprenticeship programs to those who need them. This also covers the necessary expenses for providing the course and compensation for our teachers.

The fee for the Reiki Intensive Training Course ranges from $1,550 - $2,000. All non-scholarship students must submit a non-refundable deposit of $150. We have a cancelation policy that each student must agree to upon enrollment in the course. This helps us maintain the sustainability of the course and the ability to provide scholarships and apprenticeship programs. You can view the cancellation policy HERE. Payment plans are available and a link will be provided along with additional information in a confirmation email upon enrollment in the course.

Option 1:
$2,000  - $150 non-refundable deposit - $205 monthly payment

Option 2:

Option 3:

Scholarship Opportunities:
Full Scholarship
We will be offering a work-study scholarship for the course. Required duties will include helping to set up and clean up and various other small tasks as needed. If you are interested, send your request to Izzy@transformationreiki.com by February 29th, 2024 including a description of why you feel it is important for you to take the class.
Partial Scholarship:
This Scholarship will require a $75.00 deposit and a monthly payment of $100 a month. If you are interested, send your request to Izzy@transformationreiki.com by February 29th, 2024 including a description of why you feel it is important for you to take the class.

We do prioritize scholarships based on financial need and for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ folks. Scholarships will be awarded by March 11th, 2024.
